(IT) Importance of IT degrees played down

Non-IT graduates can often provide useful skills that are not normally fostered by traditional IT courses, according to the chief executive of e-skills UK. Karen Price's comments follow the e-skills UK ICT Inquiry which shows that almost two-thirds (59 per cent) of employers do not feel that an IT degree is required to enter the industry.
