(Office & Admin) Scottish cities joined in jobs bid

Edinburgh and Glasgow are joining forces to bid for a share of 20,000 office jobs being moved out of Whitehall, it has been reported.The civil service positions will be relocated outside of London after a review of Whitehall departments in 2004, in which Sir Michael Lyons claimed the government could save 2 billion over two years by doing so.
